There are recognitions that go beyond awards. The “Empresa que Cuida” seal is one of them. Today we want to share with you some news that touches us deeply, because it speaks about people, dignity, and what we believe the role of companies in society should be.
A recognition that fills us with pride and responsibility.
The Hotel Reverón Plaza has been distinguished with the “Empresa que Cuida” seal, an award granted by the association No Somos de Segunda, whose mission is to improve the quality of life of people facing incurable diseases or nearing the end of their lives. Receiving this seal not only makes us proud, but it reminds us of the commitment we have to our community and those who need it the most.
This is not an award we pursued as a strategy. It is the result of a sensitivity that is ingrained in us, guiding the way we treat our guests, our team, and the people around us.
What does the “Empresa que Cuida” seal mean and why do we value it so much.
This seal was created to highlight and thank those organizations that have shown a special sensitivity towards palliative care and have actively contributed to making the Canary Islands a more humane and welcoming place for those going through the toughest moments in life.
Knowing that our collaboration is part of that support network, helping to make palliative care in the Canary Islands more dignified and close, is something that deeply moves us. People who accompany family members in situations of incurable illness deserve to have companies around them that see them, recognize them, and act accordingly.
The commitment of the Hoteles Reverón Group to people and their environment.
At Hoteles Reverón, which includes Hotel Reverón Plaza and Hotel Spa Villalba, we have always understood hospitality in a broad sense. It is not just about offering good service or well-maintained facilities. It is about being present in the community, contributing to the well-being of the people living and visiting the Canary Islands, and acting consistently with the values we claim to have.
This seal challenges us as a group. It reminds us that the journey does not end here, but that this recognition is a starting point for further progress. Hotel Spa Villalba shares this spirit and way of understanding what it means to be a responsible company in its environment.
Together, we continue to build a more humane Canary Islands.
We want to thank the Association of Social Action No Somos de Segunda for the trust they have placed in us. And we also want to thank all the people, from inside and outside the hotel, who make it possible for this commitment to be real: our team, our guests, and those who work day in and day out to advance palliative care in the Canary Islands.
We will continue on this path. Because caring is part of who we are.
