Tenerife has two airports, and knowing which one you arrive at — and how to get from there to Los Cristianos — can save you time, money, and maybe some hassle upon landing. Here’s everything you need to get to Hotel Reverón Plaza without surprises, regardless of your flight.
South or North Airport? The first thing is to identify yours
The island receives flights at two very different airports:
- Tenerife South Airport – Reina Sofía (TFS): the closest to Los Cristianos, and the one used by most international and low-cost flights (Ryanair, easyJet, Vueling, among others).
- Tenerife North Airport – Los Rodeos (TFN): closer to Santa Cruz and La Laguna, and quite far from the tourist area in the south.
Check your ticket before planning the transfer: arriving from one or the other completely changes the times and the budget.
From Tenerife South Airport (Reina Sofía).

If your flight lands here, you’re in luck: Hotel Reverón Plaza is just over 15 kilometers away, and the journey is quick with almost any option.
By taxi: It’s the most direct and comfortable way, especially if you arrive with luggage or in a group. The journey takes between 15 and 20 minutes and the approximate price ranges from 35 to 45 €, depending on traffic and the time of day.
By bus (public bus): TITSA line 111 connects the airport with Los Cristianos. It departs approximately every 15 minutes and takes about 20-25 minutes to arrive. It’s the most economical option if you travel with little luggage and are not in a hurry.
By rental car: If you plan to move around the island during your stay, renting a car at the airport is convenient and gives you total freedom. The journey to Los Cristianos will take you barely 15-20 minutes on the highway.
From Tenerife North Airport (Los Rodeos).

If your flight lands in the North, the journey is considerably longer: we’re talking about approximately 80 kilometers to Los Cristianos.
By taxi: The fastest option, although also the most expensive given the distance. The journey takes between 55 minutes and 1 hour and 20 minutes, depending on the traffic in the Santa Cruz area. We recommend asking for the approximate price before getting in, as it varies greatly depending on the time of day.
By bus (public bus): You will need to transfer: first take line 20 or 343 to the Santa Cruz interchange, and from there take line 111 or 112 to Los Cristianos. The entire journey can exceed an hour and a quarter, so only reserve it if you are not in a hurry.
By rental car: It remains the most practical option for long journeys: you can stop wherever you want and arrive with a margin. Calculate between 55 minutes and 1 hour and 25 minutes, depending on the route and traffic on the TF-1.
Our recommendation.
If your flight lands at the South Airport, any option will get you to the hotel in less than half an hour, so choose according to your budget: taxi if you seek immediate comfort, bus if you prefer to save.
If you land at the North Airport, seriously consider renting a car or taking a taxi. The journey is long, and after a flight, the last thing you want is to link several buses with your luggage in tow.
You’re almost in Los Cristianos.

As soon as you leave the road behind, Los Cristianos welcomes you with its promenade, its serene atmosphere, and the unique light of southern Tenerife. Hotel Reverón Plaza is in the heart of the town, steps away from the beach and the rooftop where many of our guests decide that the journey actually begins here.
